This article really caught my eye because I am an adult female that has been struggling with ADHD my entire life, but only diagnosted and put on medication at age 17. I am now 25 and in the last year began taking a daily anti-depressant, which in smal doses is used to treat anxiety. I have been taking Ritalin for almost 10 years now and just began taking medication for anxiety, which I believe has really helped. I also believe I could have had some form of an eating disorder growing up and still stggle today. As an woman with ADHD, I have to fight my urges and impulsivities and wanting to eat as soon as I see food, think about it or start to feel hungry.

I enjoyed reading this article, it reassures me that I am not alone. Thanks, Dr. Carol!

I was fortunate to accompany Drs. Joe and Carol Utay at the COGMED Conference in Austin, TX, in November 2009. After going through COGMED and having such life-changing results, I was excited to hear about the new research and statistics on how our working memory is drastically strengethened by using COGMED.
