This weekend, the annual Fun Run/Walk hosted by the Epilepsy Foundation of Western and Central Pennsylvania will take place at PNC Park. A team comprised of Total Learning Academy (TLA) students, families and staff will take part in the walk with a TLA student serving as team captain. The annual walk takes place this Saturday, July 13, 2013 to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation. Walkers and runners follow a two mile route around PNC Park starting at 9:30 A.M for walkers and 8:00 A.M. for runners. Participants receive donations from sponsors and all proceeds benefit the Epilepsy Foundation.
The Epilepsy foundation was founded in 1972 and provides employment-training, advocacy services, summer camps, community education events, seminars and workshops.
