The ACT will also be available on computers and iPADs in the near future!
According to an article in the Washington Post, “The tests will still have the familiar sections to measure students’ English, math, reading and science understanding, as well as the optional writing section that some colleges require.”
“It will look like an ACT in many ways. Some of it will be multiple choice,” Erickson said. “There will be some areas where students will manipulate and write. One item that we’ve been playing with is in a science experiment where students pour liquids from one beaker into another. … They will work through an experiment from start to finish.”
It is exciting to see how the testing community will be able to take advantage of the new technologies. As more information becomes available we will report here.
